Each year, the Tennis Ball, An Achievable Dream’s annual fundraising gala of over 900 attendees, features a keynote speaker — an AAD graduate with an incredible story of overcoming obstacles and achieving dreams.

Last year’s speaker, Kami’lah Brown, now doctorate of dental surgery candidate 2020 of Meharry Medical College, shared:

“An Achievable Dream was an incredible component to my journey of survival. It was then that I truly found my power through resilience. I was reminded of the slogan, ‘I am somebody,’ and decided that the determinant of my destiny was simple: KEEP GOING!”
