Presentations by community leaders during the Morning Programs at An Achievable Dream Academy and An Achievable Dream Middle and High School enhance student experience and our character development program. A variety of topics are discussed, from careers to education, current events, healthy living and sports, among others. Middle school students are also getting involved, forming teams to present timely information to their peers about subjects related to their school experience.
Recent speakers have included Kathy Hornsby, photographer and community leader, Hampton University Athletes and Dave Krop, the director of the U.S.S. Monitor Center at The Mariners’ Museum.
