On February 13, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, An Achievable Dream will host our inaugural Job Shadow Day. Our goal is to place each of AAD’s juniors with a company for Job Shadow Day and we are reaching out to you to see if your company will host one or more of our students.

Part of the AAD program is ensuring our students are college and career ready. We do this through programming and curriculum at the school, such as our “What it Takes” workforce development program, as well as opportunities outside of the school building such as internships and job shadowing.
The exposure our students will gain from simply joining you or your team for this short time and shadowing your work will be very powerful for their growth and development as students and future career professionals.
Job Shadow Day Details:
- Date: Wednesday, February 13, 2019
- Time: 9 am – 1 pm
- Transportation: AAD will transport the students to and from your location.
- Preparation: Your preparation for the day should be very light. Enjoy spending part of the day with a young person, provide context about your work, and help them grow their awareness and exposure to the work world!
